Nearshore Wave Energy Generator

Nearshore wave energy generators can satisfy two purposes; energy generation and coastal protection. When energy is removed from the waves erosion is reduced and damage to beaches is avoided.

Deploying wave energy generators on the beach also reduces the cost of installation as land-based cranes can be used to lower the device into the water.

Plithos Renewables had adapted its floating wave energy generator to build the Anchor Integrated Terminator Wave Energy Generator (Australian patent pending). With a gravity anchor securing the structure to the seabed, the drop in solution to wave energy is ideal for remote desalination or for powering micro-grids.
